SENIORS TEA - A SUCCESS!!

The Rotary Club of Kamloops West hosted a Senior's Tea on April 2.  There were approximately 105 seniors who attended and about 25 volunteers.  We served delicious sandwich platters along with delicious desserts.  Entertainment by Whiskey Jack and lots of door prizes. It was a wonderful event and great start to us getting back in person and out in the community!

FROM FOUNDATION CHAIR - LINDA SOLES

It was an exciting time at our meeting on April 7th, presenting 3 people with Awards from The Rotary Foundation.

Adam Popein received his first Paul Harris Fellow. A Paul Harris Fellow is given for $1000 USD or more in your lifetime.

Natalie Garbay received her Paul Harris +3. Sadly she was not able to attend so I presented it to her in person at her front door.

Iris Davies received her Paul Harris +7

Anthony Muzzillo received his Paul Harris Society award.

To become a member of the Paul Harris Society you elect to give $1000 or more annually.

On behalf of The Rotary Foundation I congratulate you all on your awards and on your generosity and commitment to making this world a better place to live.

We are also planning a Club Fireside sometime within the next month or so. Anyone that has not been to a Fireside you won’t want to miss it!  Stay tuned! We encourage any newer members to please plan to attend.  Learn about Rotary and of course our club.
