Membership Newsletter
May 2022

We are planning a Fireside for those newer members who have not been to one. We are looking to hold it on June 21st (tentatively) at Tracy McCall's at Rivershore. All members who have not been to one are encouraged to attend (as well as all members who have!)

At the meeting June 9, we will review our contribution of $2,000.00 and how it multiplied through the Rotary Foundation. We will also have a Classification talk by one of our members.

Our membership committee has decided to pay for a guest's 1st introductory meeting lunch on a trial basis until the end of this Rotary year. We will order some business cards for members to use when inviting a guest to a meeting for lunch.

We are pleased to announce we are in the application stages for 3 new potential members to Kamloops West Rotary.

Thank you from your Membership Committee!

Our club's next PIT stop event will be in approximately 4 weeks, Sunday June 12.
Please consider coming out to participate and help with the event.
For new members, this is one of our Club's commitment to cook and serve people in transition (PIT) 4 times a year.
On June 11, some members will be working at the Y Women's Shelter.  A work party at the Wildlife Park may be arranged as well. Come out and join!
Proposed future projects:
  1. Assist the BMX club with painting and repairs - likely May or June 2022
  2. Begin work on the Kenna Cartwright Peace Park - early Summer 2022
GOLF CARDS: Grab some gift cards today!

Golf cards are available for members to sell in the community. Contact Dana to arrange pickup of cards.
